NSPE National & State Leader Conference
(What is COMPLIMENTARY for NSPE State Presidents 2011–12)

State and national leaders will participate Thursday and Friday in a two-day NSPE National & State Leader Conference (participants will earn up to 10 PDHs). The conference will focus on building strong volunteer LEADERS. Day one will begin with engineering outreach to middle school students, and the afternoon will feature a facilitated general session with focus on engaging volunteers. Enjoy this session as you learn life-enhancing skills that will elevate you as a volunteer leader. Day two general sessions will continue to focus on some of the NSPE volunteer LEADERS' fundamental values: Licensure, Ethics, Advocacy, Diversity, Education, Retention and Recruitment, and Sustainability.

Reimbursement for State Presidents 2011–12 requires attendance at NSPE National & State Leader Conference (all days). Reimbursement (up to $400) will require receipts for transportation expenses only (airfare and reasonable ground transportation charges are only allowable expenses). Registration is $249 (before May 15); $279 (May 15–June 15); or $309 (after June 15). Registration includes professional development hours (up to 12 PDHs) and inspiration to take home to your business and your state organization, two lunches (Thursday and Friday), three receptions (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday), and multiple networking opportunities.
